Fain believe the time to fight is now and that society cannot afford quietism that soothes people into silence. United Methodist Church has been at the forefront of the equality movement; providing housing for immigrant families, both seeking asylum and fighting deportation cases. Fain believes the pulpit is a great place to fight for justice and the time is now.
