Driver dead after vehicle hits tree and ignites on Detroit's west side
Detroit police confirmed that the driver of a vehicle died in a fire at about 10 a.m. Sept. 8 after it struck and tree before igniting. Police said that the vehicle struck a tree in the 19400 block of 7 Mile Road near Lou's Deli before coming to a rest and bursting into flames. The driver was an adult male, who died in the crash.
Woman's body discovered near Grand River and Prevost
