Metro Detroit is going to get hot this week - very hot. There's a few tips that people can take with them before heading out for the day to stay safe, which include drinking more fluids than usual and keeping out of the sun.

Oakland County sheriff gives update on Rochester Hills shooting

Two victims remain in critical condition while two others have been discharged from the hospital after a gunman opened fire at a splash park over the weekend. Much remains unknown about the gunman, who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound shortly after.

Rochester Hills splash pad shooting motive still unknown

Investigators are still working to find the motive for a shooting at Brooklands Splash Pad in Rochester Hills. The gunman shot and wounded nine people, including children, before dying by suicide at the home he shared with his mother.
