Officials say the owner of the property didn't rent out his house — he rented out the pool on a specialized rental app, violating Birmingham's zoning ordinance. The Detroit Fire Department (DFD) said shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, they were called out to Belle Isle for reports of a boat capsizing leaving many in the water. When they arrived, fire officials say multiple boats were capsized and 12 people were in the water.

A manager can be seen trying to calm the situation, but one of the patrons chases the server with a plate. The patrons then begin punching the server after she falls to the ground. The manager attempts to protect her, and one of the patrons throws the server's cell phone to the ground.

Burke was traveling at more than 100 miles per hour without lights or siren, and when hitting the brakes, the crash occurred at 94 miles per hour. "He chose to disregard the law and endangered life," said Assistant Prosecutor Cory Newman.

Police were called to the area of Strasburg and Lappin in Detroit Tuesday night for a "double fatal" shooting. When they arrived they found one man dead, and another with gunshot wounds. Police are investigating. The second man remains in the hospital.

Livonia police say just after 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, they were called out to a home on the 19300 block of Rensellor Road for a reported shots-fired incident. When they arrived, police say they saw a man exit the home with his hands up saying he shot his family members. He was arrested shortly after. Police then entered the home, finding two people on the floor with gunshot wounds, and two more with wounds out in the backyard.
