Portraits in Power: Through the Lens of The Black Canon will transform the Detroit Historical Museum into a living archive of Black brilliance. Guests will experience a curated exhibition, artist talks, film screening, silent auction, signature cocktails and full museum access. You can check out the collection at the Detroit Historical Museum on October 4th from 7-11pm.

The Chicago man appeared in court the same day and was given a $75,000 cash bond after his arraignment, which follows an investigation by Troy police into a complex identity theft scheme that targeted victims around Metro Detroit.
