Bradley rallies Red Sox to 5-3 win over Tigers

BOSTON (AP) - Jackie Bradley Jr. hit a two-run homer in the eighth as Boston rallied for three runs in the inning and beat the Detroit Tigers 5-3 on Friday night. Bradley drove a towering shot to right off reliever Alex Wilson (1-3), clearing Detroit's bullpen and reaching the stands to break a 3-all tie with two outs in the eighth.

Lions add OT Tony Hills, DT Ego Ferguson and DT Bruce Gaston

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) - The Detroit Lions have signed offensive tackle Tony Hills, adding depth to an offensive line that might be without Taylor Decker. Detroit added Hills among a series of moves Thursday, including signing defensive tackles Ego Ferguson and Bruce Gaston. The Lions also waived guard Connor Bozick, defensive tackles Nick James and DT Maurice Swain.

Angels pull away and pound Tigers 11-4 and win series

DETROIT (AP) - Albert Pujols hit a tiebreaking sacrifice fly to cap a four-run fifth inning and the Los Angeles Angels added six runs in the seventh, routing the Detroit Tigers 11-4 on Thursday.
