The cold keeps coming right into the weekend, but at least the skies will brighten up a bit today. That won't be the case this weekend where clouds return, then some rain on Sunday.

Grab your thick winter coats because it is going to feel chilly today with howling winds between 30 to 40 mph. Wind chills temperatures are only expected in the low to mid 30s.

Cold air pours back into Michigan with wind gusts up to 30 mph this afternoon

The west wind moving into the Great Lakes will also activate lake effect snow from Lake Michigan, which will prompt some accumulation of snow by Monday.
