Black Greek Orgs. Promoting Mental Health Awareness
The local alumni chapters of the Black Greek organizations Kappa Alpha Phi Fraternity, Incorporated and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (Lambda Pi Omega Chapter) partnered together to host a Mental Health Awareness event that was held May 5th . The event?s purpose was to better educated the local community on how to become more attentive to the topic of Mental Health. The event highlighted ways individuals could seek help if one feels they are impacted by some type of mental health. And ways for family members and friends to seek assistance to help their loved ones who have mental health challenges.
