Critical need for multicultural organ donors

Gift of Life Michigan - the state's organ and tissue donor program - is launching a major multicultural campaign this month to talk about the urgent need and to help people make informed decisions about donation. The campaign's downtown Detroit kick-off event, "Let's Talk" will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, at the Madison. "Let's Talk" will mobilize ambassadors of donation to share the message that organ donation saves lives. FOX 2 personality Roop Raj and Detroit's own Coco will co-host this event.
