Rain mixing in this morning after overnight snow
Snow is coating Southeast Michigan roads, but rain is mixing in and rain is falling, so the roads should begin clearing as we move through the morning. Alan Longstreet has what to expect for the rest of the day.
DETROIT (FOX 2) - A burst of overnight snow has rendered the roads a mess, but the good news is rain is mixing in and temps are climbing, helping road cleanup as we move through the morning.

The overnight snow also led to numerous school closures around Southeast Michigan.

Winter Weather Advisory
Snow rotates back into the area this afternoon, but it won’t amount to much. We may squeeze out another inch, mainly north.
Though not much more snow is expected, the biggest concern will be freezing on roadways as temperatures fall later in the day.
This has led to a Winter Weather Advisory for Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, and Lapeer counties until 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Temps drop back below freezing tonight, so watch for a potential refreeze heading into tomorrow morning.
