Metro Detroit weather: Wet Friday with more rain chances over the weekend

DETROIT (FOX 2) - Plan for a wet morning commute Friday as rain breaks out. 

The rain will be widespread by mid-morning and last through early afternoon. Snow mixes in on the north side. 

It will be just rain for most of us with up to an inch near I-69. 

Widespread rain fades in the mid-afternoon while spotty showers remain.

Rain bubbles back up tonight and fades on Saturday morning with another round of rain on tap Sunday.
