Snow with a bit of rain coming Thursday

Some wintry weather is spreading across southeast Michigan Thursday morning.

We can expect to see the snow throughout the morning, with some rain mixed in at times, mostly south of the I-69 corridor. The snow will hit the Ann Arbor area around 9 a.m. and continue heading north from there. By 11 a.m. expect it along the Lansing to Pontiac line.

Roads can be slippery as you head out for your commute this morning. Be prepared to take it a little slower.

In terms of snow totals, we should see about an inch or two - and most of that will be accumulated in the morning. Expect to see just lingering showers in the afternoon.

Some showers are also going to linger tomorrow morning as well as on Saturday. We're certainly not done with the cold temps, either. The average temperature for this time of year is 49 degrees, and we'll be in the mid 30s throughout the next week.
