Drug addiction intervention professional to speak in Taylor

TAYLOR, Mich. (WJBK) - Drug addiction is being called an epidemic in Metro Detroit and in many other parts of the community -- specifically heroin.

Joining FOX 2 is Jeff VanVonderen, a certified intervention professional, author, speaker, consultant and TV personality in town for a special event.

"Reality of Recovery: An Evening with Jeff VanVonderen" will take place 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center, Wayne County Community College District - Downriver Campus, 21000 Northline Rd. in Taylor.
