Pixar Film Director Teaches Science in Detroit

Danielle Feinberg, Pixar's director of photography for lighting, uses math, science and code to bring wonder to the big screen. Animated films like "The Incredibles," "Brave," "WALL-E," and "Coco" are among the major box office hits she's worked on, and she attributes her success and the career path she chose to her favorite teachers.

That's why she's participating in the the International Society for Technology in Education's No Fear Coding Lab at Wayne State University. The event is open to teachers, and you can learn more here. 

She stopped by the Fox2 News studios Sunday morning to preview the event and discuss how her love for science and math turned into a rewarding career in movie making.
