Shetown Film Festival honors female-led filmmaking in Detroit
(WJBK) - A Michigan State University alumn is back in the mitten for a film festival to honor the women behind the camera.
Steffi Hill graduated from Michigan State University with high honors with a degree in Fine Arts in Theatre. She has credits on Netflix shows "Girl Boss" and "Wet Hot American Summer," the soap opera General Hospital, and currently airing Dos Equis and HP commercials.
Now, Hill is showing her short film that she wrote and starred in "Cat's Outta the Bag" at the Detroit SheTown Film Festival - the city's first women's film festival.
