2 shot during deadly home invasion in Detroit

Detroit police are investigating after two people were shot during a home invasion in Detroit early Friday morning. One of the victims died and the other is in critical condition.

Police say the victims, a 30-year-old female and a 31-year-old male, were in the home in the 15000 block of Coram when intruders suddenly forced open the front door and started shooting.

Both victims were shot and police say the suspects went back out the front door.

The man was shot in the shoulder, rib cage and leg. We're told he died later at the hospital. The woman is also at the hospital in critical condition. Police haven't yet given the names of the victims.

Police haven't given a description of the suspects, but say they're looking for two of them.
