HOWELL, Mich. (FOX 2) - More human remains have been found inside a closed abandoned funeral home, this time in a building located in Howell.
"...and that's shocking to me and I live right behind the funeral home," said Lantanya Whittis.
With an evergrowing list of locations discovered housing human remains, Detroit Police Chief James has established a task force for to look for them. Despite that task force, this most recent incident was found via tip.
The Ramsay Funeral Home was closed in 2010 when it didn't pay fines to the Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs division.
The 35 boxes of remains are now being investigated by police, who are working to identify them.
