About 29K still without power after round of storms

About 29,000 DTE Energy customers are without power in the FOX 2 viewing area.

Crews are out  responding now, according to DTE and another assessment of those without power is expected around 8 a.m. Friday morning.

According to DTE, some of the hardest hit areas are Troy, Sterling Heights, Clinton Township and Sterling Heights. 

If you see a downed wire or have experience a power outage, please contact DTE or emergency officials immediately.
