Alcohol believed to be factor in fatal Oakland County motorcycle crash

GROVELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (FOX 2) - A motorcyclist died after driving off the road Tuesday night in Groveland Township.

Police said the biker was on Dixie Highway when they left the road near Grange Hall Road and crashed around 10:15 p.m. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

Authorities did not release the identity of the victim, but police said next of kin were notified.
