Berkley, Huntington Woods on lookout after stranger danger reported

Police are asking families in Berkley and Huntington Woods to keep an eye out for suspicious activity after a stranger danger incident over the weekend. 

Authorities in Huntington Woods say on Saturday, January 20, a stranger attempted to talk with two young girls. Police say the stranger called the girls towards his car saying, "Come here, I want to show you guys something." 

Police say the girls immediately went for help and the man asked them "don't go." Police say the man then drove off and headed west on Lincoln. 

Police say the man was a white male in his 30s with black hair and was wearing a black shirt. He was driving a newer model black Ford Explorer. 

No other incidents have been reported at this time. 

Lincoln Drive runs through Berkley and Huntington Woods between 10 and Eleven Mile roads.
