Westland bicyclist hit, killed by box truck
A man was crossing the road on a bicycle in Westland when he was hit and killed by a box truck Tuesday morning.
WESTLAND, Mich. (FOX 2) - A bicyclist was killed by a box truck Tuesday morning in Westland.
The 25-year-old man on the bike was hit at the intersection of Warren and Wayne roads just before 6 a.m. According to Westland police, the bicyclist was in the crosswalk on Warren when a box truck turning from southbound Wayne to eastbound Warren struck him.
The box truck driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
