Body found in trash container on Detroit's east side: Police

DETROIT (WJBK) - Detroit police are investigating a suspicious death of a person found in a garbage container.

The victim was discovered in the 12600 block of Wade near Park Drive, just north of Harper Avenue on the city's east side.

Police have not given any further details about how the body was found, but are calling it suspicious. 

Investigators say that given the condition of the body when it was found, it is difficult to determine the age, sex and race.
