Dearborn Police investigate break-ins, sex assaults
DEARBORN, Mich (WJBK) - Dearborn Police and other nearby cities are investigating a suspected serial home invader who would break into homes with the intent of sexually assaulting victims inside.
According to a press release from Dearborn Police, the suspect breaks into homes in the early morning hours, usually through unlocked, ground floor doors and windows. Dearborn police said the incidents appear to be related and date back a 'number of years'.
As for the suspect, police do not have a description aside from a man, about 6' tall, and thin. His race and age are unknown.
These crimes didn't just happen in Dearborn. Allen Park, Dearborn Heights, Inkster, Redford and Garden City are working together to identify and arrest the suspect.
