Detroit police chased down a fleeing minivan in a prostitution sting Tuesday afternoon.

The chase began at Eight Mile and Hawthorne and ended with a crash. FOX 2's Taryn Asher  reports that police were conducting the prostitution sting which went bad when a suspect produced a weapon. A suspect pulled out a long gun at an officer before the minivan took off.

The suspect hit another vehicle before the minivan was left disabled at Omira and E. State Fair near the State Fair Grounds.

At least one suspect was pulled from the vehicle and arrested. Police used multiple units to block off various intersections forcing the suspect to take side streets before crashing.

Marion Allbritton was driving along E. State Fair when she hit the minivan that sped in front of her during the chase.

"I am in a state of shock and feeling really bad that it happened," she said. "My back is (hurting) and my neck and my leg is bothering me. I didn't see it coming at all,  it just came out of nowhere."
