Detroit Police seek suspect in SW Detroit fatal stabbing

The Detroit Police Department is looking for Jason Boyce, who is considered a suspect in a fatal stabbing.

According to Police, Boyce is believed to have stabbed a man multiple times at a warehouse in the 100 block of Green Street at about noon Saturday.

Sunday morning, Detroit Police identified the suspect as Jason Boyce. He is described as a white male, 42-year-old, with short brown hair and blue eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The initial call to the area was for an assault and battery, but when officers arrived, they found the 55-year-old victim stabbed multiple times and locked inside of a warehouse.

Police also found a sophisticated marijuana grow operation inside the warehouse, with four rooms of plants in various grow stages under high-tech lighting and equipment.

The victim's vehicle was missing from the scene and is believed to have been taken from there. It is a red 2002 Chevy Avalanche with license plate CF0 1778.
