Detroit Zoo offering free entry for military members on Veterans Day

VOAMI helping US military veterans

U.S.VETS seeks to bring visibility and awareness to the struggle of homeless veterans with the mission to end veteran homelessness in the United States, and its CEO intimately understands the struggle of many who have served — he’s a veteran himself.

Veterans and active military members can visit the Detroit Zoo for free on Nov. 11.

In honor of Veterans Day, vets and service members can visit the zoo with one guest for free. This offer also includes complimentary parking.

To take advantage of this offer, visit the zoo ticket booths with proof of military service on Tuesday. The zoo will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
