Family of Harper Woods father of 11 murdered two years ago, still waits for answers
Family of murdered Harper Woods dad, Angelo Lamb wants justice
Angelo Lamb was shot to death on Fleetwood Drive in Harper Woods April 1, 2023.
FOX 2 - A Metro Detroit woman is asking for your help, nearly two years since her son was murdered.
"I miss my son so much - my heart is so broken," said Chervaughn Hatten.
What we know:
Her son, Angelo Lamb, was shot to death on Fleetwood Drive in Harper Woods on April 1, 2023, nearly two years ago.
The call came into police - a domestic disturbance. When investigators arrived, there were signs of a struggle - but no sign of Lamb.
A short time later — he had literally been dumped at a nearby hospital where he died.
On Thursday, Lamb’s family was working with Crime Stoppers, trying to raise the public's awareness about the case.
"Angelo went to school to work on furnaces, he would come, pull up when you needed him to - he was always on time," Hatten said. "I used to call him my good son."
Lamb was father to 11 children.
"He’d show up and knock on the window 'OG open the door - I want to talk,' We would talk and laugh for hours," Hatten said.
In 2024 on the one-year anniversary of Lamb’s murder, family and friends marched from the scene of the crime to the police department.
What we don't know:
It has been 10 months since that show of solidarity and still no one has been arrested.
"I just want somebody to come and say something," Hatten said. "Tell (police) what you saw - justice has to be served. Our family is definitely not the same, it’s really broken because he was the glue to the family, for sure.

"He always used to say 'Ma it’s gonna be okay.' So now all I can do is carry him in my heart, look at pictures, be emotional, and cry. If this is your son what would you do? Be heartbroken like me.
"I need someone to come forward. Whatever you saw, whatever you heard, every little thing helps."
The phone number to Crime Stoppers is 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
