Family of Chris Stinson wants justice 5 years after murder

Who killed Christopher Stinson? It's a question that has gone unanswered for nearly five years.

"I want to know who did it," said widow Toya Stinson.

"I'm just asking, if the public, the community can bring him the same justice and the same peace he brought our country," said sister Carla Bowers. "Just speak up."

Stinson was murdered in May of 2013. He was walking from this gas station on Lahser near Six Mile, when someone called his name.

He turned around only to be greeted with a bullet in a fatal shooting.  Chris was a husband, father and Navy veteran.

"I wish that people would help me find the people that killed my dad," said his son, Christoper Stinson, 8.

"My son is about to be 16," said Toya. "My husband should be teaching him how to drive, how to talk to girls, things like that. My other son is 8, he should be taking him to football practice and doing stuff with him. We should be going on dates, living our life."

Christopher Stinson was just 29 years old. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
