Fatal crash shuts down Lodge freeway

One person has been killed in a crash on the Lodge freeway Tuesday night.

A silver car smashed into the back of a white van on the northbound lanes near Meyers road.

Police say the driver of the van had a mattress on the roof and stopped to secure it  when the crash occurred.

The northbound lanes remain closed from Wyoming to Seven Mile. It is still unclear how many others may have been hurt.
