Gov. Snyder discharged from hospital for blood clot

Gov. Snyder was discharged Monday morning from the hospital after treatment for a blood clot in his leg, hospital officials confirm to FOX 2.

His Facebook page said Thursday he was taken to St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. The blood clot is said to be part of the lingering effects of the injury of his Achilles tendon.

Snyder reportedly sustained the injury a few weeks ago while running during a vacation in Florida.
