Heavy snowfall creates ideal snow sport weather

CLARKSTON, Mich. (WJBK) - While Pine Knob Ski & Snowboard Resort has made do with the mild weather, with temperatures cold enough to make snow, there's nothing like the real thing to get customers through the doors.

The thick, wet snow that Michigan has received will slow riders down just enough to make it a perfect time for kids and beginners to give it a shot.

Although Pine Knob will be home to some higher amounts of snow, between 8 and 13 inches by the morning, many of the hills around Michigan are also getting more than enough to make tomorrow a great day hit the slopes.
