HELL, Mich. (FOX 2) - While Hell is a great place to visit all year long, it's extra special at Halloween time.
Celebrate Halloween in the Michigan town during Hell-O Helloween Weekends.
The free family-friendly celebrations include live music, balloon art, vendors, a pumpkin carver, and other activities for children. Everyone who comes dressed in costume gets to play putt-putt golf for free.
Hell-O Helloween Weekends will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 23, 24, 30, and 31.
Hell is a small community in Livingston County with plenty of things to do that make it worthy of a day trip.
The town includes Screams Ice Cream, a souvenir shop, a putt-putt golf course, the Hell Hole Bar, and the Hell Saloon. In the summer, there are kayak and canoe rentals.
There's also a wedding chapel, so you can tie the knot in Hell. Oh, and be sure you leave a lock on the Locks of Love Bridge.
You can even become the mayor of Hell for a day.
Numerous events are held in Hell, including car shows, motorcycle blessings, a summer festival, and more. Find out more about upcoming events here.
