Impounding cars of uninsured drivers; DPS funding

A new proposal would allow police to impound your car if you're pulled over and have no car insurance. Insurance rates in Michigan are astronomical, and even higher in and around the city of Detroit. Does this plan help solve a long-standing problem in the state, or does it target low-income driver?

Then, time is running out for legislators to finalize a plan to continue funding Detroit Public School. If no action is taken, the district will run out of money in early April.
