Jeopardy! predicts Detroit Lions will win Super Bowl by 2030
(WJBK) - Who are, the Detroit Lions?
The team appeared the quiz show Jeopardy! on Monday in way that many fans are taking as ... well, a bit of a shot. In a Predictions by 2030 category for $600, the question was:
“As of 2018, this NFC North team had never even made the Super Bowl, much less won it. But by 2030? Gotta happen, right?”
Sheesh.
The Lions are one of four franchises to have never made it to the Super Bowl, joined by the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns.
And the last time Detroit won a playoff game was 1991, and the last time they won a title was 1957.
The Lions are currently sitting at 4-7 for the season and bottom of the NFC North. They are up against the 10-2 Los Angeles Rams this coming Sunday at home.
