Multiple Sclerosis (MS) impacts more than 2 million people worldwide and more than 18,000 in Michigan. MS is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.
FOX 2 is proud to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Michigan Chapter in raising awareness on MS, and there are ways some fun ways that you can support the cause, too!
FOX 2 is proud to wear orange during MS Awareness Week every year in mid-March. It's a small yet powerful way we can show our support for those who have MS.
Register for Walk MS! Walk MS brings the community together to be inspired and raise critical funds for research and services to change the world for everyone affected by the disease. The Detroit Walk is in early May, but there are many walks throughout Michigan all the way through September. Visit www.walkMSmi.org to learn more and register for Walk MS in Michigan.
