Let It Rip Weekend: Toys R Us closing; Bill allows sexual abuse survivors to sue universities

Today on Let It Rip Weekend, retail giant Toys R Us is calling it quits and closing all their stores. Is it an isolated case or is this a sign of the times for big box retail?

On the panel:

Mike Bernacchi, University of Detroit Mercy Marketing Professor

Kelly Woodley, Orchard Mall Property Manager

And, a new bill created in response to the Larry Nassar scandal could make suing MSU, and other public institutions, easier for victims of sexual abuse. But could that move cause an increase in tuition? The president of the university said the cost would fall on the taxpayer and students, but many say the survivors should be compensated.

On the panel:

Rep. Sherry Gay-Dagnogo, (D) - Detroit

Frank Cusumano, Macomb Community College Trustee
