Man with autism missing from Northville found safe
NORTHVILE, Mich. (FOX 2) - A 21-year-old man with autism who had been reported missing in Northville has been found safe, police said.
Akash Patel, 21, was reported missing near Six Mile and Sheldon. According to Northville Police, anyone within a 3-mile radius of Six Mile and Sheldon was asked to check backyards, pools, ponds, lakes, sheds, garages, or any other outdoor structures.
Around noon, police said Patel had been found safe in a nearby city, but did not offer information.
Northville Pelice were searching backyards of homes in and around the Northville Hills Golf Club Subdivision.
