Missing family pet of Sgt. Collin Rose found safe

The family pet of fallen Wayne State Police Sergeant Collin Rose has been found and returned home safely.
Marsha, a 5-year-old blonde golden mix, was caught Sunday morning and is back with her family after being checked out and determined to be in good health.
The Officer Collin Rose Memorial Foundation posted the update on Facebook Sunday morning, thanking Lori Briggs, a retired Detroit police officer, and the Lost Dog Search Team for their efforts to find the dog.
The information posted to the Officer Colin Rose Memorial Foundation on Facebook says the dog belonged to Rose and his fiancee, Nikki.
Rose was killed in the line of duty while patrolling near campus in November of 2016. He is remembered for his work to build stronger relationships between the community and local police.
