MISSING: Stanley Moore last seen at Sterling State Park
Stanley Moore went missing in Sterling State Park Oct. 25.
Police are searching for a missing 53-year-old Inkster man last seen in Monroe County.
Stanley Eliot Moore was camping and fishing at Sterling State Park overnight with family. He was last seen Oct. 25 when he walked toward Lake Erie to fish and has not been seen since.
At daybreak, Moore's fishing gear was found on the bank near the channel but he could not be found.
Stanley Eliot Moore is approximately 5'11" tall and weighs approximately 200 lbs. He was last seen wearing a purple hooded jacket and jeans.
Park rangers searched and could not find him, while on Oct. 26 the Monroe County Sheriff's Dive Team searched the channel near the campground.
On October 29, 2015, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office Dive Team assisted with searching Lake Erie, the channel, and lagoon using a side scan sonar.
