New restaurant 'Pasta Bowl' opens in Detroit

Opening this weekend, Detroit's newest eatery is called the Pasta Bowl. 

Owned by Musheya Glenn and Bernard Webster, what sparked the idea for the new restaurant on West McNichols Street is there aren't any places to find pasta in Detroit.

This Italian-centered restaurant features many unique foods to try, ranging from deep-fried salmon, steak and cheese lasagna and a Spaghetti sandwich. 

Doors open Friday, June 5 at 11 a.m. on 17301 West McNichols St.

Recipe:

2 slices of Texas Toast  
2tbl spoons of garlic butter
8oz pasta bowls signature mariner sauce
5oz thin spaghetti 
6oz ground beef 
2oz Colby jack cheese 
2oz parmesan cheese 

Direction

1.    Prepare your spaghetti in the traditional style that you normally would.
2.    Take seasoned ground beef or ground turkey mix together scope out 3 oz. portion  roll and place on greased  sheet pan and bake cook in preheat 350 degrees oven for 30 minutes.
3.    Heat skillet on a med- hi temp place butter bread in heated skillet toasting the bread to a golden brown.
4.    Once the toast is done place spaghetti in the center top with the meat ball and sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top.
