Northbound M-39 in Southfield closed due to crash near 8 Mile

The Brief

    • A crash in Southfield has blocked the NB lanes of M-39.
    • It is unknown at this time how many vehicles were involved or if anyone was injured. 

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (FOX 2) - All lanes on northbound M-39 were blocked off in Southfield Wednesday evening due to a crash.

What we know:

MDOT announced on social media that northbound M-39 between the Lodge and 8 Mile is closed due to a crash at around 10:45 p.m. Multiple police cars can be seen blocking the roadway. 

What we don't know:

It is unknown at this time how many vehicles were involved or if anyone was injured.
