WEB UPDATE (5:40 p.m.): The possible witness has come forward for questioning, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

The Monroe County Sheriff has released new information about a possible witness related to the disappearance and murder of Chelsea Bruck.

On Thursday, the MCSO released pictures of a person they believe has information to aid in the investigation. According to a press release, the man in the photos above was at the Halloween Party where Bruck was last seen on October 26, 2014.

Bruck was at a party at a house on Post Road in Frenchtown Township that night. When friends and family couldn't find her the next day, they started searching for her.

For six months the Bruck family handed out more than one million flyers with Chelsea's picture on it and organized search parties in the fields of Frenchtown Township where she went missing.

On April 24, 2015, they found her remains in a wooded lot on Briar Hill Road in Ash Township.

For the past year and a half the sheriff's office said they have continued to search for the person responsible for her disappearance and murder. Detectives have already spoken to a large number of people from the party who have provided information.

They say the man in the pictures was at the party and may know something about Bruck's final moments. He's a white man with dark hair and a thin mustache.

According to police, he was spending time under a tent near the front of a stage where bands played during the party.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who knows the person to contact the Sheriff's Office Detective Bureau at 734-240-7530.

EDIT: An old version of this story identified the man as a 'person of interest'. The sheriff says the man is a possible witness.
