Elton John said it best: Saturday night's all right for fighting (cancer). This Saturday at On the Dunes, go back to the 1980s with music, food, drinks, and games, all to raise money to fight cancer.
A Night to Fight Cancer, 80s Rockstar Party is being held this Saturday by Angels of Hope. The charity organization helps families of children battling cancer, and you can be part of it all.

On Friday, Chef Brent Foster from On the Dunes showed us how to make Tito's Homemade Vodka Pasta
Ingredients-
2 tablespoons of butter
2 ounces of Olive Oil
12 ounces of cavatapi Pasta
Diced Shallots
Diced Garlic
4oz of Shredded Kale
2 oz Sun dried Tomatoes
2 oz Sweet Red Pepper
2 oz Titos Vodka
2 Ounce of Heavy Cream
2 Ounce Red Sauce
Fresh basil (optional as garnish)
Cooking Method-
-Sauté shallots in butter until translucent
-Once shallots reach translucent, add garlic, red pepper and sun dried tomatoes.
-Keep the vegetables cooking at high heat for a moment, then add vodka. BE CAREFUL, vodka will cause pan to flame momentarily!
-Add kale. Toss kale in pan until wilted.
-Add cream and red sauce. Sir well.
-Season the sauce to suit your palate.
-Add the pasta to the pan and coat in sauce.
-Finish with shaved parmesan and fresh basil.
