Service planned for woman, 2 kids dead after December fire
Taylor, Mich. (FOX 2) - TAYLOR, Mich. (AP) -- A service is planned for a woman and her two children who died following a fire last month at a home in suburban Detroit .
An obituary posted on the website of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes says 4-year-old Luci Hance died Dec. 24 after 23-year-old Abagail Meisel and 17-month-old Colton Hance died Dec. 20, the day of the fire in Taylor.
Investigators have said that the fire may have begun in the home's basement and foul play wasn't suspected.
The obituary says Meisel "loved her family, her children and devoted her life" to being a mother. She's survived by her husband and parents. Luci attended preschool at Johnson Early Childhood Center in Taylor.
Visitation and a service are set for Thursday at the funeral home's Allen Park Chapel.
