The Wayne County Prosecutor charged a man and a woman in the shooting death of an O'Reilly Auto Parts store manager on Thursday.

Shawnta Anderson, 23, and Leviticus Butler, 39, were both charged with the murder of 69-year-old James Haller at the O'Reilly store on Schaefer in Detroit.

The prosecutor says Anderson shot Haller in the head as he tried to stop her after she robbed the store at gunpoint. According to the charges, Haller was in the back storage area when Anderson walked in and pointed the gun at a female cashier.

According to the charges, as Anderson walked away from from the counter, Haller came from the back of the store and said 'Hey!' Prosecutor Kym Worthy said that Anderson turned around and fired one shot, hitting him in the head, and then left the store in an SUV.

Two hours later, Haller died from his injuries.

"By all accounts Mr. Haller was a valued ex-Marine, employee, police reservist, husband, and father. His death is heartbreaking. We will vigorously prosecute this case and do our very best to bring justice to Mr. Haller and his family," Worthy said.

His wife is now starting to get some closure.

"They got them, that's all I wanted - was to get em."

After leaving the store, the prosecutor says Butler helped her escape.

Anderson is being charged with felony murder and two counts of armed robbery, all of which could get her life in prison, if convicted. Butler is being charged with one count of accessory after the fact, a felony with a maximum penalty of five years.

Both will be arraigned Thursday afternoon.

These two charges aren't the only ones facing charges. Another woman was in the store at the time of the robbery and shooting: 28-year-old Eboni Mcewen-Ross. She's described as a black female, 5'4", medium build, roughly 150 lbs., with a medium-brown complexion. Police said it's possible that she's in Ohio or Chicago and say they are still working to arrest her.

Police also say they're looking for the getaway driver but have not released any description of that person.
