Suspicious device found outside Dearborn store (UPDATED)

UPDATE (5:30): Police have cleared the scene, saying the device was "inert." An investigation however, is ongoing.

A suspicious device had been found  in the parking lot of PetSmart in Dearborn.

Police say shopper spotted the device and called 911 shortly before 5 p.m. at  the store location at 5650 Mercury Drive.
