Taylor couple headed to trial after baby's overdose death

(WJBK) - A Taylor couple charged in connection with the overdose death of their 10-month-old great grandson will face a jury.

Quentin and Rebecca May were bound over for trial Monday. They're charged with involuntary manslaughter and child abuse.

The baby boy got his hands on a prescription drug last October, swallowed it and died.

Rebecca has said she may have dropped a pill in the bed. Quentin's attorney says the baby may have found a pill left behind from a break-in months before. The prosecutor says they're still responsible.  
    
Quentin has been behind bars since his arrest.

Also on Monday, the judge changed an earlier ruling allowing bond.
