Whether you choose to avoid them or drive extra cautiously while passing through them, these 20 intersections rank among the most dangerous in Michigan.
Macomb County has the highest number of intersections on the list at 7, followed by 6 in Oakland County, 5 in Wayne County, 1 in Washtenaw County and 1 in Kent County, according to information from the Michigan State Police Traffic Crash Reporting Unit compiled by Michigan Auto Law.
These numbers include any crash that took place within 250 feet of an intersection, which is defined as any road with a four-way stop, traffic signal or roundabout. The numbers include anything from a fatal accident to a fender bender.
