DETROIT (FOX 2) - Headed to Downtown Detroit for Tigers Opening Day on Friday? SMART is hoping to make getting around easier with free bus rides.
All fixed routes in Metro Detroit, including lines that go to Comerica Park, will be free all day April 3.
"Opening Day is one of Detroit's greatest traditions, and there's no better way to kick off the season than by riding SMART," said Tiffany J. Gunter, General Manager & CEO, SMART. "We're making it easy for fans to leave the car at home, skip the parking headache, and arrive at Comerica Park ready to cheer on our Tigers."
