Michigan State Police say they're looking for a red truck with a Kentucky license plate after a road rage shooting on I-94 earlier this month.

Police say the incident happened on December 20, 2017 around 7:40 a.m. on I-94 near Allard in Harper Woods.

Police say the victim was driving in the left eastbound lane when he came across a full-sized Chevy pick-up truck traveling in the same line. Police say the victim flashed his lights to get the pick-up to move over.

The driver of the pickup stayed in the lane and the victim passed the vehicle. The pickup pulled alongside and the driver produced a handgun and fired a shot, police say.

The victim's car wasn't damaged and the pickup driver got off at the Eight Mile exit.

No one was injured.

Police have released photos of the suspect's vehicle from nearby surveillance cameras.
